Experience charter fishing in Hatteras with Capt Aaron on Tightline, a custom towered 25' Privateer. Departing from Teach's Lair Marina, we focus on inshore light-tackle fishing, showcasing the Outer Banks' top backcountry and flats fishing.
Depending on conditions, we may head out Hatteras or Ocracoke Inlets for inshore and nearshore fishing for species like cobia, wahoo and mackerel. Create lasting memories with each cast.
Tightline has a channeled bottom and Jack-Plate to enable us to enter shallow water where others can't. Tightline can go from shallow flats in the Pamlico Sound to offshore waters in the Atlantic Ocean. You will be casting with custom rods and top quality IRT reels, made in the USA!

A new IGFA world record, caught aboard Tightline
We are proud to announce the new IGFA women's 8lb line class world record for sheepshead was caught aboard Tightline Charters by Lillian Hackney. Lily has been fishing with Capt Aaron on Tightline for many years and is an experienced angler. She landed the monster 12lb 8oz fish on April 12, 2026. Pretty work Lily!
