Tightline has a channeled bottom and Jack-Plate to enable us to enter shallow water where others can't. She can go from shallow flats in the Pamlico Sound to offshore waters in the Atlantic Ocean.

Half-Day Trip
A four hour light-tackle trip with Capt Aaron, in the morning (7:00 to 11:00am) or the afternoon (11:30am to 3:30pm). Capt Aaron customizes your adventure for maximum enjoyment, focusing on the Outer Banks' top backcountry and flats fishing. Four person maximum.

3/4-Day Sight Caster Special
Our 3/4-day "sight caster special" trip affords the ability to customize your departure time based on the best tide and weather conditions. Six hours on the water with Capt Aaron, typically 9:00am to 3:00pm. Four person maximum.

Full-Day Trip
A full eight hours on the water, 7:00am to 3:00pm. Depending on conditions, we may head out Hatteras or Ocracoke Inlets for inshore and nearshore fishing for species like cobia, wahoo and mackerel. Tightline can go from shallow flats in the Pamlico Sound to offshore waters in the Atlantic Ocean. Four person maximum.

What should I bring on the fishing trip?
Polarized sunglasses are a must! Also bring sunscreen/sunblock and weather appropriate clothing. You may bring drinks and snacks (bottled water will be provided).

Do I need a fishing license?
No, the vessel has a For Hire license and covers anglers during the trip.

Can we prolong our fishing trip once we are out?
It may be possible to extend a half-day or 3/4-day trip. Speak with your captain if possible, for that day.

Do you have a bathroom onboard?
No, but there is always a bucket handy.

How many people can come on a trip?
